I'm struggling with the original client in this protocol.
Original cipsoft client 772 feels really laggy. Looks like 30FPS or less.
I checked all the client options (OpenGL, DirectX5/9, max FPS, limited FPS, changing resolution etc).
I'm running TFS 1.5 Nekiro Downgraded 772 on Virtual Machine (VMware) on Debian 11 (4 cores 8GB ram) and connecting from host (Windows PC 8 cores 32GB ram) - so the connection is in local network.
I'm attaching short video of differences between OTClient and Original Cip Client.
Even choosing options in menu like graphics, or accepting with OK button thinks for a second:
I would like to build my project on Original Cipsoft Client with Tibianic DLL - the original cip client should feel always better - but not in my case.
My colleague which is connecting to my server from different PC, but in the same local network - have the same FPS issue.
I have checked CPU utilization/ram on Debian 11 - all are pretty low.
I have tested client with tibianinc dll and also the original 772 cipsoft client - both have the same issue.
I just installed different engine (TFS 1.2 TibiaCore from OTland) and the issue is the same. Original tibia client feels not smooth, it have like 10FPS but says 400FPS.
I also checked the Nostalther Violet and on their client and their server it is really smooth (they use TibianicDLL also), I used their exe file to my client - and it's still laggy. So I think it is not a client issue but server issue. Maybe really something is wrong with this linux server. Maybe hosting it on VM on the same PC is not a good idea.
Also compiled TFS on windows - but issue is still the same. It not feels smooth :/ Noone will play on OTS like that :/
Do someone have an idea why it works like that? or maybe I should ignore this issue hoping that on dedicated cloud server which I will buy in the future everything will works great?
