TFS 1.x Visual Studio 2017 Compatible?

you definitely can, you can follow the same exact steps (i use vs2017)
all you have to do is go under project and click retarget solution to something like 10.xx.xx.xx (make sure you have the windows 10 SDK)
then you can compile just fine

Should be, easiest way is to try.
You might have to update the SDK and boost.

Why not use 2015 till they update it?
