I think a Thank you button is a good idea for this forum. So can people say easy thanks without needing to post something. Sometimes you release something and people like it/download it. But don't post that they downloaded it/like it. Now they only need to press 1 button and the releaser sees that people are happy that he releases something;)

Haha, I think this sounds like a great idea, and hopefully it'll work better than the rep+ button... You can only press that once on every member... -.-
 
That system is unnecessary since we have a reputation system.
 
It kinda sounds like a reputation button for me except for you ain't leaving comments which is not a good thing according to me. I think it's better to leave a comment or two when giving reputation to someone. People who write tutorials for example WANTS comments of how they can improve it, if it was a good tutorial and what was so good with the tutorial...

I am trying to see this idea from your view but I just can't see how it would differ from our reputation system we have. And I believe people would abuse this function anyway...

And as far as anybody can't come up with things that makes the "Thank you" system better we should just stick to the reputation system.

Just my opinions & thoughts...
