Compiling The build tools for v142 cannot be found.

So what Im trying todo is compiling tfs 1.3 v.8.6 LINK

Im getting this error, I tried using the search tool but had no luck. All I found was that 142 was never supported on v.studio 2017 but I find this weird since the compiling guide said that v.studio 2017 was a requirement.

Thanks for the reply, I dont have the option to pick v142, I only have the options v.studio 2017 (v141) and v.studio 2010 (v100). I guess I need to download it but I cant seem to find it in the v.studio install thing.

Yes, you have to use v141.
