The end of all privacy and freedom?

As long as the hookers stay on the streets im happy.
No but, I like the way you think, but if they have to get us, they need to get us all. All of us, 6 billions.

Over 90% of the US (a majority is breaking the copyright laws) is breaking the law in some way, and the remaining got to work keeping them inprisonated or in the police.

Seriously when so many people are breaking the law, then the law is wrong. And the solution is never to make more laws and regulations, but to rethink the laws and regulations, or maybe even the system itself.

And by the way:
"Who shall guard the guardians?"

I'll just leave this here

Debunking a myth: If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear - The Privacy, Identity & Consent Blog

  • In 2007, junior doctors found their personal information - including sexual orientation - published on the Internet in a web security breach. How many of those individuals were 'outed' as a result of that breach? Those who had kept their orientation secret from their families or colleagues were perfectly at rights to do so, but found it released anyway.
  • In 2006 a student was wrongfully arrested for stealing mail when a batch of letters were recovered. His fingerprints - which had been taken a year previously when he was accused of criminal damage but released without charge after the real culprit confessed - matched those on some of the letters. After his arrest it was discovered that the letters bearing his fingerprints were posted by him. He was released, and then had to campaign to have his DNA data removed from the National DNA Database.
  • Time and again individuals have been fired from jobs, or failed to get jobs, because of errors in the Criminal Records Bureau database. They have been stigmatised as criminals, even to the extent of being falsely branded as sex offenders, because of database failings.

I've heard that UK "lost" 50 million personal numbers, basicly you can get "everything" about a person using that number.

I've seen that the govement ALWAYS say these changes are for the greater good, catching more criminals etc. But when I look at the criminal stats for the last 20 years the crime rate are increasing. So the changes doesn't catch criminals at all, and often makes it easier for them to do their crimes(!).

Also the biggest defenders of the drug prohibitations are the druglords. They know that if they legalize it, they would be out of a job.

Criminals addapt and I hear it numberous times that when the police get better in some way, the criminals just make it harder the other way. The police get armor, they buy armor piercing rounds...

In the end there are no reason to make more suvalience laws other then restricting normal persons.
