Im just saying that msn had its good times, but like windows its outdated.. Now, its gone now, you cant do anything about it, so try other ones and stop being so down :c

I use MSN more than anything (I think scarlet could back me on this) but if it happens then I guess... hello skype... ~.~

There are 2 separate things, one is the WLM client, the other is the IM Service
I currently use Pidgin instead of WLM client because its much faster and lighter and capable of having plugins, supports multiple logins at the same time from 16 different IM services(without plugins), but I'm still using the same IM service that you would in WLM, think like for example using official Tibia client(WLM) and OTClient(Pidgin), they are different programs but end up doing the same thing, one of them simply does it better
Never criticize something without trying it first

A service being good or bad totally depends on the user, Skype is better for voice and video, no doubt about it, but if you only want to use it for text, what makes the MSN service worse then skype's?

I prefer msn over skype when talking, its easier for me. (I'm used to it and I don't want to change something if it isn't broken)

Isn't this old news? I heard something about this 2 months ago, but then i heard they were also shutting down hotmail.

Anywayz it's sad to see msn go, but i cant say i've used it much the last few years, switched over to skype in 2008-09 or well i started using skype as well, i still have a lot of friends online on msn, and a lot of friends i'll probably never hear from again when msn shuts down (cyber-pals) So yes, sad news ;(
