Honestly I've only ever liked 8.6 or 8.64 servers they were the most stable for me when I had mine running.

I'm not sure, I only founded this sources and I looked on CLIENT_VERSION, and says = 800, (something like that), It would be nice that you check it

Not really, just convert the 8.0 map into 8.2 and try joining the game
