Suggestion Thread Deleted Notification

Hi,basically what I'd like to suggest is that when a mod deletes a thread a pm is sent from the mod that deleted it to the person who created the thread telling him that his thread was deleted and why it was deleted.

Yes but when your thread is deleted you don't know what rules you broke.

Read the rules and in most cases you will know. We are not finding reasons to delete every thread, so it is rather obvious.

Well, maybe just a message that a thread was deleted giving one simple reason?

So a message should contain something like this:

Dear [$user_name]

We want to inform you that your thread was deleted due to a violation of Otland Rules.

To avoid future deletion please read Otland Rules again.

Beecause when someones thread gets deleted for the first time, he doesnt know what has happened and he is sending a private message to one of moderators to get some information...

So, moderators dont have to fill anything because everything is happening automatically.

Read the forum rules, and read all the rules posted for that specific board, they don't delete threads unless it's a violation. If you read the rules before hand, your thread would not be deleted in the first place.
