I like the way ultima mixed the 2d and 3d better, where its the creatures that are the 3d models and the rest remains 2d... but this is kind of interesting to say the least... I actually should have called it HD-2D because it is closer in style to the HD-2D games in the last few years. I called it 2.5D because I grew up in the era of original Doom games, and that's what they called those engines at the time.2.1D
