Hello everyone,
I have a specific question about an old-school Tibia mechanic, specifically for versions around 7.4

If a player used the Levitate spell (exani hur up or exani hur down), would the spell succeed or fail if the destination square (SQM) on the upper or lower floor was blocked by an item (like a parcel, backpack, or corpse)?
My understanding is that it should fail, because Levitate is supposed to mimic physical climbing (using parcels), and physical movement requires the destination SQM to be empty.
Could any veteran player or server developer (especially those familiar with 7.4/OTLand physics) confirm this behavior?
Did the spell successfully move the player, or did it fail with a message like "You can't reach this position"?
Thank you for your help in clarifying this old rule!

so it depends what item is at sqm, corpse or backpack won't block sqm, one parcel neither.
it must be non passable object to block sqm. for example you can place magic wall on levitate spot and block somebody on upper floor.
and if you try to use levitate when sqm is blocked, you should see a puff effect that spell can't be used(mana isnt consumed).

I am almost sure it worked like this in old days.

It is not possible to go up or down if the item is of the type that cannot be walked on.
