Tibia 7.72 retro project

Dear community.

I am working on a 7.72 retro server, which is almost completed.
Now i wonder how many people that would be interested in playing on the server.



Features of our server:
- Better game performance since this client is supporting DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL.
- A great oldschool feeling while playing the game.
- In the console options you can choose whether you would like to have private messages displayed only in your console or also in your game window.
- Spells are free, but you still need magic level in order to use certain spells.
- Active Gamemasters to keep the server clean from cheaters.
- Contains every quest from the good old times
- Premium account is free.
- Old Tibia website.
- Old NPC outfits
- No item hotkeys



Under development:
Scripting of NPC's, monsters and action scripts.



Currently looking for people that would be interested in participate as BETA tester or Gamemaster.

7.72 realmap you saying? That will fail I believe as there's really great 7.4 realmaps out there. Just sayin ^^

This server is for the people who would like a better game performance.
There is a difference between 7.4 and 7.6 in gameplay aswell, 7.4 had no wands/rods.

If you prefer 7.4 then i recommend that you play on another server, but if you were a big fan of the 7.6 or 7.72 client then i suggest this one.

not to discourage you but there were many tries on making stable 7.72 server and all ended after pk team bored off, so not to say anything but it will fail.

Yes there will be PZ on the boats.
Every single quest will work.

hm or make ot with yurots map, i remember my first steps into ot's with this map <3 and don't forget to make it medium or high rate (by med i mean 50x and high 999x)

I am not trying to discourage you or anything, but most players do not enjoy 7.72. This is not because of things such as 'wands;rods do not exist', it is because they're are really fun features which actually create the hard gameplay of 7.4. This consists of UH traps, rope traps and traveling on boats without pz.. having to know the map directions of by heart is an essential when people are traveling.

I personally enjoy these features, and it is not just about no aiming on old school and people will start.

A suggestion for you to attract players although would be adding a war system. I do personally love this 8.60+ tibia protocol feature.
