To open my ports, I need to what?

I open my ports by going to 192.168.1.254 (usually something esle) I go to my toolbox and games and sharing etc. Opening by putting 7171 in the boxes, Right? Or how do I do it?

It depense on what kind of router you use how to portforward. Type your router in google with portforwarding and then you will find tutorials how to portforward with your router.
