The universe is expanding [FACT!] as proven by Albert Einstein. So far, the "Universe" (uni meaning "1, the totality of everything that exists") has been expanding since its birth back 13,7 billion years ago by the big BANG.
The diamater however of the visible universe is around 93 billion light years.

Q: Fine, fine big big big big big, big numbers, big things! Now I ask thee, what is the Universe expanding into? The universe is expanding, faster then the speed of light according to general relativity, but isn't the UNIverse all there is? How can it expand? INTO what? Into nothing? What the hell is this "nothing, infinitive voidness?" Is it even infinitive? Are there boundaries to similar multiverses?

A: :ninja:?

Basiscly this question came to mind when our science class was in discussion on how the big bang accured, which ofcourse is a complete different discussion.

I've thought about it too.. What the hell is the thing that's there.. How infinitive the universe and the future universe is... It's a pretty hard thing to get if your not a scientist or something, but I would think, if it is expanding, then what does the infinitive universe look like, whats there, "Of course, nothing." But why does it keep expanding? Also, How the hell did the particle that imploded get there in the first place..
