Hello!

Topic: The making of a sword part 1
Level of sprite: Basic (Basic/medium/intermediate)
Color count:9 with black
size: 32x32

Start:
There's tons of different ways to approach a sword.
First of all we are going through some basics.

We will set our canvas to 32x32 so that we don't break the rules of a tibia item.

After this we will create a so called Outline. An Outline is basicly alot of black pixels connected to eachother
in a way to create your object.

Like this!

Comment: Now it will probably take a while to get the shape exactly as you imagined or as cool as you hoped.
but this is something you gotta learn for yourself.

Then as we start coloring it I'd like to approach it in atleast 3 different steps:

Ground coloring:

Shadows:

Challenge: Try using my outline and color it with different colors!
or more advanced; make something else with same outline!

UPCOMING: Color Theory - how to pick pallettes
I'll answer all questions in this thread, and help you with whatever needs help with(if im capable of it)

very good tutorial for beginners and semibeginners. Maybe add some more depth in the shadow department because i see a lot of people (myself included) having trouble finding the right way to shade some parts
