ubuntu: gesior is not creating account and chars

hi!!! im getting some trouble, im using ubuntu 18.04, now in gessior, when i try to create a account, i just get nothing XD, the DB is not updated, now if a create a account by the phpmyadmin, and then i try to create an char in the web i get this error

any of u know why is this? i read about the the thread_staff i got it like this

Go to
mysql/my.ini find

thread_stack = 128K
increase it to 200k

save
restart mysql

 

[mimus]

theres no my.ini O . o, im using ubuntu i try with my.cnf but there is nothing, just like mysql.cnf in conf.d and mysql.conf.d are some kind of mysql.ini like file i change it like u say, then restart buuuuuut does not working
