When installing Ubuntu server, in the menu of the partitions. What kind of "filesystem" should I use? I read somewhere that ReiserFS was the best for OTserv, because it could hande small files ALOT faster. Is this the right one to chose? I've gotten a weird problem where i can't login to the server (local) it just says the password is invalid. Using Gesior AAC, 0.4 (one of the latest revs), and ubuntu server 10.4. Also i made sure that i was using sha1 encrypted (in config.lua) passwords.
Also not sure that it's called filesystem.
It should not have anything to do with the server performance aswell, got 3 Gbs RAM, a new HDD (SATA).
Just curious if anyone has had the same problems?
