UDP Ports - Open Tibia

I think someone with more experience could help me with this issue involving server security.

OTservers use UDP protocols (Server/Apache/Mysql etc)? or only TCP protocols?

Hello @secondlife, only TCP Protocol. You can block all UDP Ports and test by yourself just to confirm what I'm saying, but it's it. The only reason to allow UDP Traffic is to increase DDOS Attacks and all kind of amplification of attack.

One more question, only with IPTtables rules i can reject UDP connections? or exist another way more effective?

Yes, you can use iptables, but I recommend that you research and use (CSF), if you have some question you can ask in private, remember that this kind of protection only protects your server against small attacks, find a good host that provides a solution against DDOS and you will be safe.
