It even looks like a comedy show, since gitlab, gitbucket among many others offer much better services at no cost, particularly I see no advantage to migrate my private repositories.

That's pretty much the sentiment of the entire developer world right now.

"Woot private repos finally, but still don't see any point in moving and locking ourselves down to just 3 contribbers"

This is good for developing an opensource repo before you want to make it public.
GitHub is still the #1 developer social site, with StackOverflow being the other.
It's a repo host second, a social site first.
