Hello, i have a problem when i compile my console TFS .0.3.6, my avast antivirus show me a virus and delete my console, the virus is "Win32:Malware-gen" where could be the problem? Thanks

it's most likely a false positive, just restore the object flagged from quarantine or turn it off temporarily :)

I will explain for you the problem, i downloaded the server 2~3 months ago, and i compiled a lot of times, cuz im doing my server, but today (after of 1~2 weeks without use the server or compile) i tried open the server for test and it was deleted automatically and when i compile to create the console again it deleted automatically. Why just now im having this problem? whats wrong? Its a trojan?

Avast likes to detect viruses in files where there is not any virus.

Just add your .exe to exceptions or turn off your antivirus.

It's ok, thanks, but why just know its detecting it like a virus? After 2 months than i compiling a lot of times my console?

Maybe you downloaded something that is infecting files on your computer?

maybe avast got updated recently and now it scans for something that could potentially be seen as malicious code
either way fuck avast, use something better

Might be a false positive, what does virustotal say?
I didn't check on virus total, also when i try compile on GUI the exe don't show any virus. But i can't open it, only consume RAM as if it were opened (sorry for bad english)

I would say, without knowing where did you download from, its a false positive.

Always check the source of the problem, if you donwloaded from, lets say otland/github then its a false positive

7/51 antivirus detect the virus. Also i downloaded from OTland the server, and the compiler too.

[8.60] The Forgotten Server 0.3.6 (Crying Damson) V8

Stian's Dev-cpp repack 0.2 (with crypto++ and 64bit) !

I use virustotal and its clean, no virus found, i think its a false positive, thanks ^^
