You guys are just running vista on what an 1GB? You need to have at least 4GB and the right shit to run it. I'm running vista and it is better then XP for me. I have another xp right beside my vista and i do an speed race and Vista is faster so i do not know what the fuck you guys are saying. You guys just need the right computer.

dude my laptop is new with vista and 3gb ram and still i cant get a game to run as fast as a normal gay xp computer with windows xp.. and 1 gb ram!!!
hmm omar shut up.. vista does suck and it does need 4gb ram to run normally (its still buggy cuz its vista) XP is really good for the most part its alot easier to understand and shit.. Vista is just a rushed OS... pretty much haha..

Been using Windows 7 for about, 4 months now. And I am very impressed about it.
I would say stick to XP, but if you already got Vista, go for Windows 7 if you want to use an Windows operative system. Windows 7 kicks windows Vista totally.
It is definetely more troublesome to downgrade from Vista to XP than Vista and upgrade to W7.
Been helping my friends also, who had issues with Vista, like games working bad, very slow, eating to much resources.
After using W7 Rev 7k all those problems got fixed, and now after getting rev 7.1k, it seem to be even better.
Also you don't have to think about your computer drivers at all, if you got vista, windows 7 will take and use for an example your graphic card driver, audio driver and so on from windows vista.
You can also let W7 examine your computer, and search for drivers updates which fits for your hardware.
I love the new taskbar system. Especially with shade grid function.
Windows 7 is still a bit unstable, especially unofficial rev like 7064, 7022. Im testing 7100 now, also rev 7000 which is the official beta is a bit unstable.
But the worst case that have happen to me, is that I get bluescreen while closing some firefox windows after searching youtube. Which happens very rarely.

I got 4Gb of ram and e8200@standard clock
and uses Win XP, cuz some drivers dont work in vista x64 for me but all work in xp 32..
Also waiting for Win 7.

Viśta is the worst thing I have ever looked at (DVD).
Viśta has some special policy:
- User cannot have too powerful PC (maybe for military purpose) so if user has 3 GHz and 4 GB RAM, Viśta will work as 1 GHz and 1 GB RAM
- User cannot work without getting angry (Viśta provides unforgetable impression) -> i t makes you angry after 5 minutes of work
