Jesus was actually born a couple years earlier than our time table says. He was born around 4-5 BC.
It may be so that Jesus was born in summer time, that I have no knowledge of but that he was born earlier than our time table says, is true.

"Evidence from the bible"

Sorry pal but I can take you seriously if you are saying that.

I suggest you base your ideas on scholarly articles and publications instead of a few biblical verses.

Also worth checking are the wikipedia articles as they give alot of cited info.

Insulting religious figures is not going to make you any friends; the same way you would get offended if someone insulted some of your religious figures.

On topic: This wikipedia paragraph pretty much sums up what we know:
While the month and date of Jesus' birth are unknown, by the early-to-mid 4th century, the Western Christian Church had placed Christmas on December 25,[20] a date later adopted in the East,[21][22] although some churches celebrate on the December 25 of the older Julian calendar, which, in the Gregorian calendar, currently corresponds to January 7, the day after the Western Christian Church celebrates the Epiphany. The date of Christmas may have initially been chosen to correspond with the day exactly nine months after early Christians believed Jesus to have been conceived,[23] or with one or more ancient polytheistic festivals that occurred near southern solstice (i.e., the Roman winter solstice);[24][25] a further solar connection has been suggested because of a biblical verse[a] identifying Jesus as the "Sun of righteousness".[23][26][27]

Good thing I'm irreligious and couldn't care less about these things.

Domini you no belive in SANTA... :(

If I remember my religion class from 3 semesters ago ..... the origin wasnt even about jesus... it was originally a pagan holiday that celebrated the winter solstice.. change in seasons and the sun.....which was around well before the birth of jesus.... And then was adopted and changed throughout the middle ages
