If you setup a website it connects to the database, so if people create an account on your website they can also log in with that on your server since your server is using the same database.

Regarding a very specific aspect of your situation: To link a domain to a server you need to go to the domain control panel and enter the servers IP in the right field; it is dependent on the domain host.
