Seriously now, what happened? 8.6 is the worst client you could ever play, who care's about the botters. Bring up the new clients!.
8.6 = 80% botters. The new clients? = %100 non botters, much more active players etc.

8.6 is not 80% botter-filled. It's about 99.5%.
It is so sad that people are still using 8.6. Yes, you get more people ONLINE at the same time because 99.5% of them are stuffed in trainers.
Trust me, believe me, make a 8.6 server without trainers (but skill rate is high), I 100% guarantee you will not reach 65 players.

I agree with you mate, but if you're gonna be like this, at least remove your signature.
When I will get time, I will make a custom server with the latest client.
I am very positive that I will get at least 100 players online, ACTUALLY playing.

The thing is, I'm going to actually put work into it, not have some duplicated download-and-run server.
Trust me, people want something new, people want to do things, people want to work for things.
I know exactly what people want.
 
Would be nice too see, but you gotta be honest with yourselves, tibia isn't really that fun to actually play, even custom servers aren't fun because they just arn't unique, i mean look at necronia it's just a copy of runescape with generic linear tibia quests, mixed in with neat vocations.

The only reason i'd play Necronia is to test the Vocations & that's only if someone leveled all my characters.

Only version i can truely manual on is 7.4- because PvP is actually some what of a challenge, and crazy fun with those little black hole SDs & big brick bolts and shiz :3

Yeah, the CIPbot is lame, but you can play/make a PVP server in the latest client and turn off rune hotkey.
About the black hole SDs, yes, I totally agree with you, this little black suckers always bring some destructive beauty.
That's why I use a custom client with changed sprites, so I can play the latest client with old sprites. (yes, it works on any server).

Think about it, what custom server have you played recently that has something fun & thrilling going for it that isn't taken from Runescape or something. (Now i say runescape, because am pointing at Necronia etc, why the fook do these people that play that think chopping wood & cooking are the best things since OT)
I know there were some pretty fooken legit ones like 1-2years back in dev, but wtf happend to them?
Necronia is currently the most popular RPG (As supposidly unique) server going atm as far as i know & there is nothing unique about it, like i said, the quests are generic, simple and linear with not even a good story backing them.
The only unique thing about Necronia is the vocation system, but am not going to play a server purely for it's vocations.

No one wants to play new clients with hotkeys turned off + isn't it just easier to play a 7.4 server :P

- On the subject though it also boils down to it being about PvP, no one really wants to level a character manually just to war.
At the same time people want variety and diversity in there game other than just PvP, even though they Kill players most of the time, it's always nice to compete for highscores, even if it's botters that are competeing etc.

People just don't want to play "Tibia" anymore as far as i can see.

Forgottenl.se had 100 + players for 3 months with 9.2 client "it was the newest at this time.."

Jigen.lt 9.31 and reached 45 players in 3 weeks.

If u are serious and hard working on ur server then u have a good chance to have players even more than 8.6 servers.
 
Jigen.lt havent have a update in a long time i thing 20 days or something i look there website everyday and no update forgottenl.se was best in 8.6 400+ player and then september 9.2 did come to forgottenl.se and look masiyah.se everyone play there but witch bot! 8.6=Botters=more players 9.=No bot no players :d
 
come on guys if u have good ot 8.60 and good adervsite u will sure get players, in vers 9.31+ i never saw 200+ ppl ?lol some of 8.60 ots start with 600 ppl at the login so think a little better to edit good 8.60 ot with experienced gm's, no matter if there botters there still players who play,since at 9.31+ u have no botters but low pee of ppl thats the way how the servers dying :P

I remember the good old days where servers had 400~700 players online, and it ran on the owners pc... Nowadays people think 45 players is a good accomplishment :( Too many ots = less players
Back then, there were only like 100 different OT's so lots of people playing same ots and stuff like that..

I liked the RL MAP that was like 8.0 no botters 200 onlines everyday PK PK PK Someone found a bug SERVER CRASH! :8(
