What I hate about some servers.

When I'm looking for servers to play and I see they have a good bit of people online I try it, and then it turns out the gm just made like 50 level 8 character to make it seem like a lot of people are online, and then I just quit, lol.

Also when you are looking for a server with custom one and finally find one without 'Real Map' 'Global' in its name and when you log in you find out that its actually another real map

And after a long wait, you finally find some good server with a good community, good map, etc. so you start to level up and make some friends, and then, server closes....

And start all over again.

I am currently working on a server that I hope doesn't possess the flaws mentioned here.... specially this last one. Stay tuned!

Lol, it might just want to be shown on otservlist so people can discover it.. but what server are you talking about?

This is exactly what Ive been trying to talk about at my threads.

OTserv lists needs 2 cathegories atleast, maybe 3, Real Maps and Custom aswell as maybe War Servers.
If you put it at the wrong one, your server gets banished from the site.

I see that ive been away for some time, "spoofing", 50 lvl 8 chars? Never heard of it. :O

Aslong as the servers are 1000x servers, people will just start and play for a few days and then quit aswell as the servers will restart/close.
We need more serious custom servers.

Yeah, and the only problem I see with custom servers is if they are balanced, like spells, vocations, pvp, items etc.. because if they're not balanced it not even worth trying.
