What im doing wrong (sprites 7.4)

Im changing sprites in my client with objet builder i start with
the borders i change all them, so i gonna check and nothing...
after i tried to compie item.otb with item editor but it always says

OTB version 3.

>> Loading client files.
>> Client version 772.

Well, your .dat isn't placed correctly or hasn't been loaded correctly.

I placed in a folder on my send so i go files-preferences-browse-search my files they said ok
they i go open load my items.otb and get
even is my dat & sprites are edited or not
