Only difference between them is the appearance. Get one that looks good with the server's name or website's name.

For a game, I'd probably use servegame.com.
For a personal page, I'd probably use mine.nu. For example, thispageis.mine.nu would be kinda funny.
For anything else, I'd rather get a domain you have to pay for. They're cheap as shit anyway, like $10/yr max.
