The answer is subjective but most people, according to what's popular on otservlists, enjoy fast-paced tibia map and not custom things and that's the way it has always been.

Custom server will always be best but I mean custom not edited evolution or so.
(Custom map)/ Fun systems/Events/Dungeons/Story quests etc.. and maybe some mini-games.
Balanced vocations/PVP system will be great.

The problem, in my opinion, with custom servers is that they are almost always half done. Lore that doesn't make sense, maps threw together, etc.

Not that I'm necessarily harping on people for that...... it's an incredible amount of work.

Having said that, I've always 10-1 preferred a good 100% custom ot to another real map copy paste server.
