According to Teh Mavewick, new zealand will be getting Fibre optic soon :]
Probably wont be available to households though, i think i remember some officials saying that it would be only available for schools and government...

In sweden you can get 100/10mbit's ADSL!! as max!

in Poland best connection for home user is 120/10 I guess(and you can improve upload a bit for additional fee iirc) ;f
