What map to use for the server?

I Need some support on this. I am making a server and i am confused on what map to make. Can you guys tell me if i should start a real tibia server with high exp and strong monsters and change it a little. or should i just make a custom and stick with it? Dont know what to do let me know

I like the thought of making a real map but really? if you wanted to play on the real map why not just play tibia. but custom.... everyone has a different view on things so some times people like it and sometimes you might get 2 people on it. any more suggestions?

It's your choice.
You make whatever server you want to make, if you put hard work into it, you'll surely get players no matter what the map is.

A custom map server is pretty fine, but actually the custm servers are not getting players, if you want many players online, you should open a rl map, idk why, but they catch alot of ppl, good luck

Imma tell you how to get a custom map with high exp. First thing you do is go poo on your wall and then clean it up. thats it. but dont tell anybody

You can gain players at both but if you success with a custom map you will get to history.
When i host a server i like to see people playing and having fun, i can't stand to host a server to only see bots running around that makes me sick.
If i gain money or not i don't care so far i can pay for the dedicated/network/electricity but that isn't usually a problem if the server isn't standing at 0 - 5 players online.

However thats me, i don't know about you.

+1 success with custom map is really hard, i've worked in really good custom map projects and its more easy to get players with rl map than a custom map that will take you alot of time to build

The mostly common problems with custom ots is that they build it the way they want it and not the way the players want it.

Note that everyone don't like to play an full RPG server, everyone don't prefer custom spells/custom items but nearly all appreciate an easy to understand custom map. A tip is to make the players chocked and keep everything easy. I mean hidden chests, custom events, cool things but still easy to understand. Many of those players i have met is playing tibia because of the simplicity. Imagination is the limit.
