What is something you have done that makes/made you a newbie? Either something you did recently, or a long time ago.

Let me start: I remember back several years ago (maybe 2005-2006) I tried to host my first 7.6 OpenTibia server using YurOTS and thought "mapping" was done with a GM in game using commands to create buildings and houses. I remember spending about two hours making a temple in game and then restarting the server, resulting in the loss of everything. I later learned you use a map editor!

:D :rolleyes: :$

Long time ago, I've added new item in otb as invisible floor - I didn't knew that there is existing one already(460)
and like month ago I tried to find good bugless free accmaker with layout,
after three deleted databases and one day of ragequits I decided "fuck that, I will use ingame manager instead" ;_;

I remember the first OT I played, quite a few years ago. It was one of those OT's where you logged in, had no exhaust/runes and people just ran around spamming UE's... I thought the GM's on it were actual GM's from real Tibia.

oh all those old 7.x ot memories... best time ever playing and trying to host that xml shit that got hacked easily by any aac (saying it by aac on brazilian forums since in that time I didn't knew english properly :/

Port forwarding, also I didn't know I had to take the server out of the .rar to edit the config.lua, ah good old days.
