Which dedicated host do you prefer?

Well as the title says, which hosting company do you go with to host? I used vpsland for my small servers back in the day, nowadays I use 1and1 dedicated servers. They seem so unstable and laggy sometimes though so I wanted to get your guys opinion so what companies do you use?
