which xampp version is better?

I use tfs 8.5 and do not know which version of XAMPP should i choose. tutorials recommended version 1.7.3, but in my opinion she is old and full of holes.

Use whatever you like, I would use UniServer.

You should not use XAMPP at all, try IIS + http://php.iis.net + http://mysql.com
