Why did official rme stop produce the program?

Hello i got a question why did the official remere's map editor stop producing the program? Then i wonder is it here we download the program right now? https://otland.net/threads/remeres-map-editor-10-78.233294/

Hampus Joakim Nilsson, the creator of remere map editor probably got tired of the OT community. You can't expect him to maintain development of an open source project for his entire life.

As long as the source is from github I would give it a go, they are branches that are based on the official RME, and their commits are public.

He created the map editor back when Open Tibia was about helping for no reason other than you could. The community turned into some donation-starved leech, sucking the life out of the senior members and developers. He undoubtedly left because of this, but I'm sure he also left because he has better things to do than spoon feed people all day.

Priorities change. We move on. The source has been made available to everyone. Do with it as you wish.
