Why does my mouse stop working?

If nothing of this works then you can just buy a new mouse instead maybe?

Never fixed it so I just switched my moms computer for mine, works normally on hers, and her mouse works normally on mine..

then it was most likely a driver problem, uninstalling the driver and installing it again should have solved the problem

I hope this helps you a bit buddy, your mouse is an usb one? If so, are you sure your usb ports are receiving 5v? If not, maybe it's an issue of the power supply of your computer..Check that, if your mouse is not usb, check if the port for the mouse is working correctly..If that doesn't solve it, I'm out of ideas
