Why is my ot lagging when I'm running it on localhost only?

My computer has 8GB of ram 64 bit OS. 3.30 Ghz. It's a real map 9.81 so it's probably really big I don't know if that can cause such huge laggs. And even when it's on localhost. :blink:

I solved this issue.

CPU? how much ram does it use when it's active?
 
Are you streaming anything like music/videos etc in background?

It shouldn't thrash the computer tbh.. what rev/tfs are you using? are there any other comments on the same issue within the thread you downloaded it from?
 
No I just had the ot running. How can I see which rev/tfs it is? I did not download it from otland. And there are almost no buggs in-game.

Linux or Windows? Map Size? Any Errors On Console? When does it start lagg?
 
We have probably this same engine ;pp.
It's 9.81 real map, map size 33kx33k like rl map, 0 errors, windows, Lags starting while run if i click -> on keyboard i will get lagged after some sqm.
 
Try running the same server, but with a small map without any scripts and see if it's still lagging. If so, it might be something wrong with the distro itself?
 
Try compiling on msvc instead of dev-cpp on stian's pack, it worked faster for me
 
Yy.. I run rl map on other engine and It's not lagging, so it must be problem of engine <distro> ; <
