Windows 7 is OUT!

It only beat Vista in booting by a couple of seconds, and this is just Pre-Beta 1, so I would wait until at least RC before comparing it to Vista. Personally I'm going to stay with XP Pro until I know for sure Windows 7 would be a good upgrade.

What do you base on to afirm that?

Because i'm currently testing i have 2 patitions 1 is windows vista ultimate and the other one windows 7.0 ultimate (both 64Bit) and after a couple of tests (opening programs and calculating other things ram/cpu check) it seems that windows 7 is in opening programs 34% faster and the cpu-ram has been reduced with 8%~12% if you dont belive me just test it your self.
Even the shutdown has been reduced with 67%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
