Windows Windows 8?... Good option for hosting?

Hello,

I'm using Windows 7 (On pre-installed W8 PC), so, it's been a kind of problem with the drivers stuff...

I want to install Windows 7 since i find it better for the OT hosting/development than W8...

But I'm not sure.

If this are my only 2 options... Should i stick to Windows 7 or doesn't matter if i get W8 again?

Both should work fine to host on.

Linux would be the best OS to host on.

Do you use Win10 on any environment yet? I've checked it a t a friends pc and imho I prefer win7. It still will be supported for about 3-4 years and it's not like games wont run on it anymore^^

I use windows 10. works fine. haven't seen any problems, but also haven't run anything heavy on them. windows 7 free support has ended and end of life is 2020.

I don't recomend Windows 10. There's some bugs that they haven't solved yet and maybe it's just my PC but. On windows 7 i had 3% memory usage and like 20% cpu usage. On Windows 10 Memory usage is on 96% and CPU usage 93%

I don't use Linux because... I dunno, i like the good graphics and my entire life (since i was 5 years old) i been using Windows xD
But i guess i'll give it a try as i finish to develop my project

I don't like W10 either, theres bugs as Tarek1337 says...
Never going to use it x'D
