i'm hosting on windows and i want to change to linux
my question is..
does it will make difference at the server data?
and if it will work as the windows or no? rep+

OK, your current server which window's based will not work on linux, in linux you will need to compile the server to run it, that only thing compatible from a windows server to a linux server is will be the data folder,config.lua, theforgottenserver.3db and mods folder.

You will also need to learn how to use linux a bit, basically how to manage yourself via terminal(same as Command Prompt).

It will be rewarding to learn this, if you take your time learning it.
