Hello!
I wonder if you answer my question, Will am i able to host and run server in windows server 2012? I decided to build one in my house and buy windows server 2012 software because i dont want to rent from websites and no willing to pay monthly. What do you guys think about with can i?

Kinda ageee, and if you set it up correctly it can be just as safe.
Downside is that you will lose 2gb ram to windows, time to patch bugs and that it costs 10-30eur each month.

But linux isent hard to understand once you get started, download ububtu desktop and side it with windows so you can use both. Its alot easier to compile etc on linux aswell.


A server costs alot when its new. Its built to have no downtime, you can swap harddrives to cpus when the computer is on depending on how much you invest.
