Would it be possible?

Hi there,
I remember back a few years ago playing private servers and stuff. and I always had that one question... is it possible to play offline/ (in the worst private on my home network??) I feel like playing this game again... but most of the private servers at the moment are overpower-pvp only

Ofc it is possible simply get a download and Run server and start it with 127.0.0.1 in config.lua you should now be able to login with localhost on ipchanger ofc this means your server wont be reachable from outside only you can play and you wont lag in anycase since you have a ping of 0 on localhost

Thanks for that fast anwser... but hmm? Would you be able to find a tutorial that shows that... most of your sentence is %!%$%! for me :(like this
get a download and Run server and start it with 127.0.0.1 in config.lua you should now be able to login with localhost on ipchanger
And maybe my best friend would also play

Thanks again,
Mijiku

You should check around the forum for a tutorial on how to set up a server. Once you get it configured properly, you can invite who ever you want to come play with you :)

(Modified) well thanks for the video... now the only question remaning is the premium thingy

I've already check before making a thread... and well I do think i'm blind since i've not found any with lastest release ish of tibia nor how to "remove premium shop" so we can actualy go in the premium locations

Just give yourself premium, you will be able to do that after you set up the database and register a new account

i would like one recent. also hmm seems like the video sent above is date out of 2012.... isn't it outdate..... ?

Someone :( ?
If your looking for someone to hold your hand from A-Z this isn't what support is for, here in support we attempt to help people with existing problems not problems that do not exist.

Use the search box on this forum, setting up a server hasn't changed much since the dawn of otland, if the video you watched is from 2012 then following those instructions will help you setup a server using even the latest distro.

Also most of the program he use are completly different ....
Since your not a scripter or programmer we will start you off with the lastest
Download #791, of your computer version (32/64 bit) -- this is the server's exe
http://nightlies.otland.net/
Download -- this is the data directory, the exe goes in the same directory as the config.lua file
https://github.com/otland/forgottenserver/archive/master.zip
Download -- this is a web server emulator -- your computer version (32/64 bit)
https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html?ModPagespeed=noscript
Download -- this is the account manager
https://github.com/Znote/ZnoteAAC/archive/master.zip

Then follow this tutorial, if someone tells you that uniserver is better... tell them I said to kiss my ass!
