xampp/phpmyadmin/user accounts password error

so i opened my xampp opened mysql and apache then went to phpmyadmin then clicked on user accounts to make a new secure database after i filled the information in i clicked go and it said

SHOW PLUGINS SONAME LIKE '%_password_check%'



MySQL said:

#1018 - Can't read dir of 'C:\xampp\mysql\lib\plugin\' (errno: 2 "No such file or directory")



anyone have anyway of helping me
