Xampp version

Which version of xampp would be the best to run with gesioraac 0.3.8?
Using OS Windows but i'll may change my mind later on and put it up at a Linux server.

Xampp 1.6.6 why 1.7.3 have errors in gesior in diferents OS.

When I tried to host my site on Xampp 1.8.1 I had many unknown (for me) problems... And then I tried with Xampp 1.6.4 and everything looks like it should!
