I like both consoles but Microsoft has always had ridiculous fees for useless shit. Glad they're getting rid of Microsoft points but I wonder if they've replaced it with some other shitty alternative.

They only removed the points, things will still cost the same. But without the translation into points they gain more (Which means they remove the selling in stores which is not a fair move for resellers. It also removes the possibility for buyers to find special deals on cheaper points). I didn't have a problem with they points (except when you pay in the console and need to buy points to then buy an item) and I still think it's a loss for the consumer and a win for poor old Microsoft.

Everyone complain about xbox but as soon as its out people are going to buy it anyway and they are going to love it. Its always like that. It might look bad but its actually not. TOo lazy to explain more, just do some reading.
(I am Playstation Fanboy)

They haven't replaced microsoft points, they are however changing it from Microsoft points being used as the currency to actual real currency.

@mackan, they will probably just end up doing the same as Sony and Apple with Itunes and Playstation Network cards that just add funds to your wallet etc.
