Why is this useful lol? We already have one download Tibia - Free Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game - MMORPG

So why have we Open Tibia? Look: we already have one - Tibia - Free Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game - MMORPG

Sizaro, just look at it. You can use all tibia clients in one app, isn't it very useful? Thats not all, it have translations and much more.. just try it

Good job guys, its becoming with every release more and more functional :) its growing really fast!

nice, but isnt is ilegall just using tibias graphics without permission?;o

Its cool all right but i really won't use it for the moment ill stay on the tibian client. But i have to hand it to you guys, your making awesome progress maybe in the next update you guys do ill try it!:)

Hi,

thanks everyone for positive feedback! There's a lot of it so I can't personally say thanks, so here's a collective "THANK YOU" for all of you. There's enough of it, go grab a piece :)
Because playing OT with the Tibia client is illegal?

Also, awesome work! I've tested the client and it runs ever so smoothly. Altho I have a problem with running on OpenGL, and SDL crashes at random occasions... =/
OpenGL engine is not actively tested and supported, and it's indefinitely on hold. Regarding crashes -- we're in perpetual beta, we fix things as we see them happen (and as time permits) :)

...what the...
Er, looks like Ubuntu guys didn't make proper depends. You should install both libsdl-gfx1.2 and the -dev package when compiling.

If you are attempting to use my debian repository ... it's a debian repository, not an ubuntu repository -- I don't run ubuntu and I can't compile for ubuntu :)

nice, but isnt is ilegall just using tibias graphics without permission?;o
As you may have noticed...
... we do NOT take their graphics, and we do NOT ship their graphics. We do not depend explicitly on their graphics, except for filenames; as long as you provide Tibia.pic, Tibia.dat and Tibia.spr, they can be any sort of files, generated by CipSoft or anyone else.

YATC is just a Tibia client; it actually provides no graphics. You do that, by copying the file. It's your responsibility.

Now, the fact that the only usable graphics set comes from Cipsoft, well, that's another story, isn't it? :)

Conclusion: Morally and legally, I believe we're good to go.

Its nice! But it doesnt let me load OpenGL it crashs... But its still great work. Runs nicely! GOGOGO :D
