It looks like you used my tutorial, which is neat. . I recommend to stop using autoborder entirely and work on the borders by hand to have the best results. Stalagmites are unable to become an actual thing unless they have a consistent flow of substance onto them, therefore having it above ground makes little sense. Try to use the mountain borders I used ( ID : 4456 ) Try to not have the mountain pieces ( The larger mountain rocks that connect to the mountain ) not be on top of each other, always have ground under all of the mountain pieces, don't have rocks / objects going onto the mountain pieces or any other sort of thing such as that, add ground debris by hand so that they go under the borders, and try to have it mainly rock soil. You still have a long way until you will become a great mapper but you are on the right track.

Try to stop using autoborder as much as you can, it doesn't help with shaping/bordering at all.
Also I think some debris are needed and that the dirt areas need to be reworked.

Thanks for all the feedback, I will take them into consideration :p

Edit:

A simple cave, it's hard using no auto borders -_-

Terminus could have been done better ;) I am tempted to try do a remake of your terminus piece :p

As you say, there's a long way left, but you're not totally bad at this, I actually like some of the pictures, little to simple but still, nice! Keep it up and you'll see result soon enough, good job.

Its better to start out simple and not know where your going than to not know where your going and over do it.

You haven't stepped outside your abilities, everything you have posted has been not horrible which is what your hoping for as a new mapper. People are always going to have criticism about your mapping, whether you've been doing it 1 day or 10 years, and this is about as tame as you can get on here.

Keep up the good work. If you just keep busting at it you'll be 3l!te in no time.
