Znote AAC - Can't log into Tibia, Znote website up and running and creating accounts

Hi folks,

Pretty new to creating OT's.
Yesterday we managed to get an OT up and running on localhost and a few of my friends connected through my global IP address.

However, weve tried to now add the Znote AAC to create accounts through the website and log in to Tibia but we cant.

The website is up and running, weve converted our existing database using the special/ SQL query and we can create accounts and characters on the website. Yet when we try to log in to the server the account name and password we just created on the website is always wrong.

Any ideas?

What do you mean always wrong? Are you using encryption?

To be honest i'm not really sure, Ive just followed another thread around the salt and sha1 encryption to try and get it working but neither has solved the problem. At the minute I am just trying to log in with the account name and password I used on the website.

Just an update, $config['salt'] = false, passwordType = plain and TFS version is 2

Thats the tutorial we followed to get this far, only difference is we downloaded and used "Znote AAC 1.4 - [TFS 0.2.13+] & [TFS 0.3.6+/0.4]" instead of the one he selected because we couldn't find it is this why it isn't working at the minute?

It is difficult to elaborate further we followed the video up and everything worked fine, I have created/registered an account through the Znote website and created a character after logging into the site with the new credentials. Yet when I go back to Tibia apply the IP changer to local host and try to log in with the credentials created through Znote account, the username password is not found/incorrect etc.

In the config.lua file of your server find the parameter called "encryptionType" and change it to "sha1"

There is nothing in the config.lua that says encryptionType

Add this to config.lua:

encryptionType = "sha1"

That should not be needed to add to the config.lua.

You got wrong TFS version in config.php.

Hello dude im having almost the same problem just i going to explian
i make the character and log into website and ingame
but i dunno why when i try to write my password later its say its wrong when im sure i type it correctly
i must add this just happens with certains accounts i don't know why and just happens sometimes
im using sha1 otx pls help
