ok i uninstalled xampp and all folders after copying my mysql folder and htdocs. but now when i installed it all again ive lost all characters and accounts. i thought they were stored in the mysql folder? any resolution for this?

ive just restart my xampp client and it connected to the database with the password in the config but i cannot connect to it with that password....
