You're in for a tough ride, I can say as someone who's spent hours on setting up an OT server. A good start would be this one: http://otland.net/forums/basic.479/. Oh, and depending if you want to setup a server with other players or just a fun-server for friends: picking a package with an ingame acc manager means some struggles less. Gl!
 
Hi, first of all I need to thank u guys here for the amazing job u've done so far.
I'm planning to make a closed server for me and friends and for most of us want it without most of missions that we saw in quests. I mean, is there anyway of removing the missions? for example, all farmine TP's liberated, without necessarity of doing all the quests (new frontier and wote), as do the quest. Another one is yalahar quest the way we see in others server. Just go there and kill azerus without doing all those missions. So now i ask you, Is this simple to do? i just need to delete some scripts and so or i do need to recreate them?

hello could anyone help and lead me the right way. i open this server on a machine using ubuntu(lastest version).with 5gb of ram quad-core. dedicated machine and my character when online moves 1 step and stop. why is this happening? even when i login as 127.0.0.1..sorry if i posted on wrong page i just thot someone here would have the same problem if it was the datapack or the way i installed,

SOLVED THAT PROBLEM with socket already
Solution: open configure file of mysql database and look where the socket is located.
But i have another problem

user must be root or ur custom user, pls read a guide how to run a server in ubuntu and stop spaming, this is not facebook.

hello i have a questing i tried to see this nice project and when i download it i dont know to compile it, and if i copy the map only i saw the map isnt there, there is a map from forgotten similar than rookgard
 
is it possible to compile it on windows xp without virtual machine? cus visual studio 2013 needs 4.5.1 framework and it's not available for win xp
