Ok, let's do this..
I would like to start with saying that I will analyse these objectively and from mostly an architectural view, but also a little bit of the structural part.
Starting with
Neon's Image:
If we first look at the structural stability of the building I don't see many flaws. It might be debatable whether the pillars have any load bearing function or not, but since it's for architecture they do look nice. Planning bedrooms close to the officer's dining area is also a good idea. Since then they won't have to walk too far. Also, the long, straight corridors give room for easy navigation through the structure.
Now, let's see to how practical it is. First of all, it is a snowy climate and I see a lot of open archways, it's gonna get freezing in there, so we do have a problem with that.
As to the integrity as a keep, the big open room with the carpet in it might make the defence towers obsolete since attackers can just run right in there.
So.. overall not that bad, if we don't consider the different taste people have in what they like.
Now
Vaka's 1st picture:
can't really see much of the building, though we can see that it is on fire. can the structure withstand that? Else it's a design flaw and the building won't last long. Also, those wooden pillars that you hang your skeletons in are possibly to close to the lava and fire and might catch fire really fast.
Vaka's 2nd picture:
Here we have a little bit more architecture. That tower to the north west looks solid and the red stones add to the mystery of it.
The central building on the other hand has a few problems to it. First of all, crystal pillars tend to not sustain the weight for long term and should have something else to help them hold the structure. The ice block walls will surely melt in this climate (I guess it's warmer than 0 Celsius since there's no ice anywhere else). That building will collapse over time when the crystal pillars give in.
As to the southern building which looks more like a couple of ruined walls with bamboo in some holes. The roof ain't complete and if the walls are exposed to wind they will fall since there's no more supports than the other wall and they only consist of archways.
Don't get me started on the southern west building, ultimate problem with moisture and fungal diseases will make even the stones rot away in short term.
I would like to end my analyse of the images with asking you to stop this useless conversation about tibian architecture. It's like you're all trying to be trolls but won't even achieve to make it funny.
So stop with this fucking boring conversation about a ridiculous matter and post some god damn mapping pieces of YOUR OWN (looking at you purple cow).
With that said, if you want your piece analysed, just tell me
Sincerely,
Mackan™
