Simple Mapping Question

I hope I will get some help so I try to explain my crazy problem

Floor 8 = A small map with a ladder

Floor 7 = nothing


What I wanna do?

Okay I try to explain it again.

I simple want add a new floor above floor 8.

At floor 7 I dont see floor 8 so I cant see where the ladder is.

So how I can create the hole for the ladder at the right place?

Press J in the MapEditor and write 409.

Pepsi, there are a normal floor lets say where you can find water. The normal floor id is 7. Then if you'll use a ladder you'll go to the floor 6 and if you advance one more floor it will be 5. But if you go into a hole from normal floor, you'll be in the floor 8 that's the underground.

yeah thanks for your answers so my explanation was to bad.

I have a full map/floor at floor level 8. At the end of this map is a ladder.

My mistake was that I removed the whole floor at floor level 7.

Now I wanna add this floor(floor = house) at floor 7, exactly above the ladder of floor level 8.

The floor 7(floor = house with a hole for the ladder) have a hole for the ladder.

But at floor level 7 I cant see floor level 8. So how to add the house with the hole for the ladder at the right place?

example:

FLoor 8 = little map with a ladder

Floor 7 = A house with a hole for the ladder

I removed Floor 7. Now I want add it again. But how? I can't see where the ladder is.

i place my cursor over the ladder, (floor 8) then hold ctrl and scroll back once, then place the ladder hole over it
